From Rosario to Orlando: A Story of Perseverance and Growth
Three years ago, my family and I made the life-changing decision to emigrate from Rosario, Argentina, to Orlando, Florida. We were fortunate to arrive with work opportunities, and my journey began at a Beauty Supply store. This business primarily focused on women’s products, such as wigs, extensions, and beauty items, but it also had a small section for barber supplies.
At that time, the business wasn’t doing well, so I proposed an idea to the owner: to go out and sell the corded machines we had in stock. I had no prior knowledge of the barbershop industry and didn’t know where to start. Armed with a two-door car, unfamiliar with Orlando’s streets or the locations of barbershops, I set out. I printed photos of the machines at Office Depot, used Waze for navigation, and started visiting barbershops one by one.
Initially, I faced skepticism. Barbers laughed when I showed them my photos and the corded machines, as they were outdated products. Meanwhile, I saw vans from other distributors fully equipped as mobile barbershops, and that inspired me. I envisioned reaching that level one day.
This incredible adventure began that way. The first days were extremely challenging—nobody knew me, and I didn’t sell anything. But I never gave up. With perseverance, discipline, sacrifice, and pure determination, I kept going. Despite the ups and downs and moments of doubt, I gradually earned the trust of barbers and barbershops.
Today, three years later, I am proud of what I have achieved. Thanks to relentless effort and unwavering dedication, I now have my own van, my own product line that includes scissors, combs, and razor holders. Additionally, last year at the Las Vegas Expo, I launched a line of gel, wax, pomade, aftershave, beard oils, and balms. A year ago, I fulfilled another dream: opening my own barbershop, MR MOUSTACHE BARBER SHOP. I also host events for barbershops, contributing to the growth of the industry I deeply love.
None of this would have been possible without the unconditional support of my wife, the love of my life, who has believed in me for 23 years, and my children, who inspire me every day. To all the barbers and barbershop owners who have supported me on this journey, I am deeply grateful.
This journey has been a blessing, and I am filled with gratitude for life. The best part is that this is just the beginning. Let’s keep striving for more!
Lastly, I want to share a piece of news that fills me with pride: I am nominated for Influencer of the Year at the Barber Billboard Awards, to be held in Bakersfield, California. This recognition is another dream come true, and I am thankful to everyone who has been part of this journey. Let’s keep dreaming and working hard!

My name is Bosquez Tha Barber, I’m a single father, I been cutting hair since I was 16 and I am currently 31 so I been dedicated to this trait for half my life. I always wanted to go deep into the independent scene so I started this business because I feel like their isn’t a lot of clothes that represent barbers in the streets.
We live in a time where style is everything . We are independent contractors so I feel like that gives us more reason to fill our bodys up with promoting ourselves instead of a brand that doesn’t have anything to do with your career move. When you’re in a public environment and all you see are people dressing to impress, my brand stands out to give future clients that opening to ask their life changing question, “Hey, Are You A Barber?” Then it’s your job to capitalize and lock it in.
Im still working on building the brand while being open to meeting new supporters. Attending barber battles, going door to door, and creating video work are just some of the things im doing to advertise. I’m in no rush to watch this brand grow so I’m just taking it a day at a time.
