My name is Dorian Hernandez, I am 16 years old. my business is DorianBlendz, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I started my barber career in 2020 and got consistent 2021 and haven’t stopped since. I first began cutting hair out of necessity - money was tight and I wanted to earn my money. I soon realized the transformation that happened in the chair, seeing my clients confidence and mood shift from a fresh cut and I grew my passion towards barbering . My dream is to own my own shop one day and make a bigger impact in the Vegas community.

I am 16 years old and currently a barber in the Las Vegas NV. I started cutting hair two years ago. I honestly started because I would always love to draw as a kid. Then I saw my barber do a design on me and I thought it was cool. So I started doing designs and practicing on my dad and just got hooked on from there. Also as a kid I would remember going to the shops and always have a good time and always see the brother hood the barber industry brings. So I always wanted to join it. Then I also started cutting because I like making people laugh and feel confident about themselves. So with the art of barbering I can do all the things I love. My ultimate dream is the own the best barber shop in Vegas and build something more then a shop. Somewhere were people can come and forget about all the outside world problems and just relax. But I also wanna open up barber shops globally. I would love to open up a barber school as well for all the people that wanna continue their journey as a barber.

My name is Angel Rodriguez and I am 14 years old. Words cannot explain how happy i am for this opportunity. I currently live and cut in Santa Maria, California.

, I started barbering June 4th, 2024. So I have been cutting for 1 year and soon to be 4 months. I started barbering because i wanted to be passionate about something and do something to get my name out. To make my parents proud and one day let them be able to retire without having any financial issues. Another reason is because I have always liked my hair and have always experimented with it. What I mean is I if I liked doing things with my hair, why not do it to other people. Another reason is that my cousin inspired me and gave me some supplies to start with, So I couldn’t give up, I told my parents on what I wanted to do, My mom bought me my first clipper, Dad bought me my first trimmer, Could have not been more grateful for this opportunity that God gave me. 🙏, Now, My dream and ultimate goal as a barber is to help others feel confident, to win trophies and be able to cut up celebrities. I plan to work hard in my career and hope to get a trophy before I turn the age of 15, I am currently 14. And that is all I have to say, Thank you

Straight out of Redwood City, California, a 14 year old barber who started cutting December of 2024. Emilio started with the hopes of getting his name out there and to inspire others in the future. He hopes to have success in mastering the craft with great precision and dedication.

Bentley is a 10 year old barber cutting out of Northern Colorado. 

He did his first cut in March of 2023. 

The passion for the industry started at around 2-3 years old though. Asking tons of questions while watching his father get haircuts. Bentley retained the information really well. 

By age 5 he got a hold of a pair of trimmers and shaved almost every stuffed animal in the house. Upon hearing this, his mentor who was also an instructor at barber school started bringing Bentley mannequins to practice on. 

It was apparent this wasn't just a phase for Bentley and he was truly passionate about barbering. Christmas 2022 he got his first pair of professional clippers; Babyliss black fx. Once he had those in his hands he began to understand using the lever and actually fading his mannequins. 

With his skills rapidly progressing, his father was the first to volunteer for a cut in March 2023. It's been on since then. 

Bentley has competed in several barber battles in the Northern Colorado area and even once at the CT expo. 

Bentley's short term goals are: to win a trophy at a barber battle, get faster at cutting, and be able to do a fade with no guards. 

Longer term goals include: completing a barber apprenticeship, having a fully booked chair, and eventually owning his own shop. 

Dreams as far as barbering would be: owning multiple shops, his own barber school, and running his own expos.

My name is Gianni Oseguera. I am 15 years old and I am currently cutting in Galt California.  I started cutting hair because my dad was a licensed barber and ever since I was little I would hang out at the shop and watch how haircuts really changed peoples confidence. Now that I am cutting hair, I love how I can increase the confidence of the people who sit in my chair!  I’ve been cutting hair since the end of 2023. My goal as a barber is to be able to open up my own shop one day and have my own product line and to be  known around the world as Gfadez! 

Hello, my name is Xavier Rangel. I am 16 years old. I’m from a small city named Galt located in California which i will soon be putting on the map.

I started barbering January 14, 2023 when i first cut my best friends hair. I was really excited and i saved up to buy some JRL Gold clipper and Andis Slimline pros I still have to this day. I will never forget the start of my journey. I started barbering because ever since i was a little kid I always had fresh cuts all because of my mother who always had me looking fresh. I loved getting big designs on the side of my head and a fresh lineup. When I looked back at how happy I was with fresh cuts I wanted to make other people happy to by doing the same thing; being a barber and cutting hair.

My ULTIMATE dream and goal is to one day open a big barbershop with top class level barbers and beginner barbers as well to help the young barber community as well. I want to inspire other younger kids like me to join me on this journey of being a barber. I want to one day give back to my community of Galt and show where I’m from and how I didn’t let my small town stop me from being big. Thank you

Hi my name is Giovani Sarpec Ramirez, also known as “Gio”. I am currently 13 years old, based in Redwood City, California. 

I have been a part of the barbering community since July 2024. What got me started was seeing how a haircut can really make somebody feel good. I like when people leave the chair feeling confident. My passion for barbering grew more when the Elevate Barbershop team let me shadow their shops, teaching me the basics and showing me the environment. Also when the Bay Area Student Barber Expo team invited me to showcase at their event, introducing me to the community. My dream or ultimate goal as a barber is to be a representation that inspires people, while making a positive impact in and for my community.
